a chain of decisions, choices and selections makes up the process through which all artworks
are formed. a process which is (almost) always entirely unknown from the out-set.
embarking on a painting, or an exploration of a new place, we begin informed by what we
perceive at the starting point of our journey, to at some time, repeatedly, stop and take in
the new location.
how is this often individual decision making process effected by opening it up to the many ?
this work, or what could perhaps better be labeled as platform, seeks to open up this process
through the exploration of the european, or more broadly “western” artists cyber-communications
network. and to furthermore continue efforts in establishing a physical shape for the network.
THE BEGINNING:
A path each time commences at a separate location, from which each journey begins.
Each stage of the journeys is logged. The log will be developed as a open resource, compiled
geographically, through the physical locations of the call's orientational points.
